![]() | New Trier Township understands that one of the most difficult hurdles to obtain employment and remain employed is the high cost of child care. In response to this challenge, the Township offers the Child Care Financial Assistance Program. The New Trier Township Child Care Financial Assistance Program provides assistance with payment for child care for income eligible parents/guardians. This program is designed to help offset the cost for services provided by licensed day care, before and after school care, and/or summer day camp programs. Am I eligible for assistance? Any family in need is encouraged to apply. To be eligible for assistance, you must: Have lawful custody of a child under age 13 who receives care in a licensed facility. Be a resident of New Trier Township. Work full or part-time; attend school; and/or are in job training. Meet income guidelines. Need More Information? Following August 2, 2010, applications will be reviewed and given consideration based on available funding.
