NEW TRIER TOWNSHIP SUPERVISOR APPOINTS INAUGURAL DECENNIAL COMMITTEE TO STUDY AND REPORT ON GOVERNMENT EFFICIENCY*

 *New Trier Township Decennial Committee pursuant to Section 10 of the  Decennial Committee on Local Government Efficiency Act, 50 ILCS 70/1 et seq.This law requires New Trier Township to study and report on local government efficiency. (June 10, 2023)

The Committee will study the Township’s governing statutes, ordinances, rules, procedures, powers, jurisdiction, shared services, intergovernmental agreements, and interrelationships with other governmental units and the State. The committee shall also collect data, research, and analysis as necessary to prepare a report, which must be submitted to the Cook County Board by November 9, 2024.
